BACKGROUND TO THE BUSINESS
I’m sure many of you remember Brian Hodgkinson who originally started the business on his retirement prior to 1990, Albert, who had recently been made redundant/retired (1989), assisted him with deliveries. Brian’s health didn’t improve and in January 1996 the business became the ALBERT HALL COMPANY
We still have many of our original customers with us and we appreciate your custom as well as your friendships. Albert, after 7 years, unfortunately lost his fight with cancer and passed away peacefully 15th October 2012.
I will endeavour to continue running a friendly and reliable service for everyone, aiming to have orders delivered as soon as possible. I will always acknowledge receipt of e-mails or telephone enquiries, so please, if you don’t get an acknowledgement within 24/48 hours, please contact me again, just in case I have missed it. If I am not around for any reason, a message will be left on the answer machine advising you of this, and I will deal with orders/enquiries on my return, ie on holiday or emergency.
I am happy to deliver, delivery free, to the meetings, if that helps any of you, all I ask in return is that the order is with me by the end of business on the Friday before the meeting (assuming they are at the beginning of the following week), as it does take time to process them. Should they come in any later than that, unfortuately I cannot guarantee delivery.
